Sat Nam. Welcome to this meditation to connect to source.
Disconnection from our true nature, our true source and essence is the most common cause of suffering.
When we forget that we are all connected, that we are all divine, we lose sense of our power.
In this meditation you will be bought back to your connection to Mother Earth (Gaia) and to the infinite essence that is you, truly you.
Here is an article on the benefits of meditation.
You can listen to the meditation here.
So make sure that you are not going to be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so, make sure you are comfortable. And whether you choose to enjoy this meditation by laying down or sitting, just try and make sure your spine is straight to the best of your ability.
Be comfortable and allow your self to drift into this meditation. If you notice your mind wandering at any time during this meditation, just lovingly guide it back to listening to my words or to focusing on your breathing, but just bring yourself back to the present. As we enjoy this journey to join with our source and the infinite part of us.
So let’s begin by taking deep breaths and, and out through your nose.
Breathing deeply and tracking the breath all the way up in the nose and down into your belly and then tracking it back up and out, and out through the nose, tracking that beautiful glorious breath.
And then allowing the breath to travel all the way into the tips of your toes, breathing in
and breathing out,
breathing in
Allowing the breath to travel all the way to fill up your feet from the heel to the toes.
And allowing your next breath to travel all the way to your ankles.
Gradually filling up our physical body with this new refreshing breath.
All the way to your calf muscles.
Nice; and to your thighs.
Allow your breath to fill up your hips and your pelvis.
To your stomach, allowing your belly to pop out with every in breath. And it falls back towards your spine with your out breath.
Allowing the breath to fill up your chest, to your heart space and across your shoulders. Traveling down the arms through the upper arm elbow forearm, hands and fingertips.
Now allowing the breath to travel up through the neck. To your cheeks, nose, behind the eyes, up into the forehead, right up to your crown chakra. You are completely full with this relaxing oxygenated breath.
And then we’re just going to connect with the vibrational level of the body. So we’re going to use the mantra. Hum. And as you chant hum aloud, you will notice the vibration in the lips and in the chest. Now, if you notice it anywhere else in your body, that is brilliant. Everybody is different and everyone notices it in different places, but I’m just giving you some guidance as to where I notice it.
So let us begin. Hum.
Hum,
Hum,
Hum,
Hum, maybe you notice it in your throat. Hum,
Hum,
Hum,
And now I’d like you to visualize some roots growing from the soles of your feet or the base of your spine, whatever is more connected with the earth right now. Visualize this happening. If you’re laying down, visualize these roots growing from the base of your spine. If you are sitting in a chair, the soles of your feet, if you’re sitting cross-legged the base of your spine. So that part of you that has a real connection with the air; visualize roots growing from that part of your body.
Traveling down through the earth, through rocks, through soil, right to the earth’s core centre. And these roots may be natural looking roots, or they may be iridescent fibre strands. It may be like golden hair. However you want to visualize your connection with the core of the earth right now.
Now visualize transposing some energy from the core of the earth. So as we breathe in, imagine pulling energy from the core of the earth, all the way up through those roots into your body and into your heart space. And then as you breathe out, you transpose that energy and send it back down through the body and through the roots, right back to the core of the earth to be recycled, let’s do this.
Breathing in pull that energy all the way up through the roots to your heart space. And breathing out, sending it back down.
Breathing in to the heart space and breathing out back to the core of the earth.
Breathing in to the heart space. And breathing out, breathing in and breathing out.
And now we’re going to take this visualization and the energy up up higher, so visualizing a beam of light that goes from the base of your spine, traveling up through your crown chakra, and then up above you into the sky, through the atmosphere, through the ozone layers, all the way into the universe. It travels close to the sun and once it gets past the sun, it heads to the furthest star.
Feel this beam of light now; feel this connection from your spine all the way through, into infinity.
And this time we’re going to transpose the energy from up above. So we’re going to breathe in. Bringing the energy down through this beam of light from the furthest star, past the sun, back through the atmosphere and back down into your Heart Space. And then we will transcend it back up to be recycled.
Let’s begin breathing in, pull that energy from the limitless universe all the way to the heart space, and then breathing out, send it back.
Breathing in
breathing out,
breathing in,
breathing out.
Breathing in
and breathing out.
And now we’re going to connect the limitless parts of you to the core of the Earth. So now the breath is traveling from the outskirts of the universe down through the beam of light down through your body, through to the core of the earth. And as you breathe out, it goes back from the core of the earth, through the body and to the limitless universe.
Let’s begin. I will not guide your breath. Now you are okay to do this.
And now take a deep breath in through your nose, feel your connection to source. And to that infinite part of you, we are so much more than this physical being. We are connected to the entire planet and to each other.
Give your fingers and toes a wiggle and gently open your eyes and come back into this space.
