My self styled Yoga classes provide your year 6's with a fun environment in which to explore movement, breath and mindset as they prepare for a new chapter ahead.

Using Yoga, Meditation and fun games, they are invited to share, be open about the changes and ultimately look forward to their progression.

How does yoga support the transition?

Yoga is an ancient practice that incorporates the Body, Mind & Breath. When young people are taught the power of their breath and mind they are able to self sooth and cope with anxiety and stress in a healthier way.

Through yoga they are bought back to the Self, not being influenced by others, but able to sit with their own emotions and process them.

Through this transition series they are reminded that the power of their mind and the confidence to be themselves will empower them to self regulate. This is a priceless life skill.
