A gentle, practical training for those who want to support children’s emotional wellbeing holistically.

Children don’t need to be quieter.
They need adults who understand what’s happening underneath their behaviour.

This training is for you if you want to:

  • feel confident supporting children with big emotions
  • teach yoga and mindfulness in a way that actually works
  •  understand behaviour as communication, not “naughtiness”
  •  create safe, inclusive spaces for children to move, feel and rest

This is not about perfect poses or silent classes.

It’s about regulation, connection and trust.

A Note from Jo

I created this training because children don’t need more adults telling them how to behave — they need adults who understand what’s happening in their bodies and nervous systems.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to get it right every time.

You need presence, compassion and tools that actually work.

That’s what this training offers. Anyone can teach Yoga to children - you just need an open mind and an open heart - we can change the world!

I absolutely love Jo Yoga - Jo's kind and encouraging presence is very holding and I love the different themes of the classes, which really build into a life-changing practie on every level - physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. Thanks Jo for sharing your light and bringing your magic to my mat!

Since the age of 7,  [my daughter ] has attended Jo's weekly classes; benefiting hugely from both the mental and physical elements of yoga.
Jo is a fantastic inspirer and role model, using her influence mindfully as she gently and expertly guides her young yogis.

Thank you for coming to our school and teaching us some yoga, it was a new experience for most of us. Our favourite part was the meditating because it helped us to reflect and relax. Forming a well-balanced ‘tree’ proved to be quite challenging, but still extremely enjoyable. We loved every moment of the session and it would be brilliant if you could come again to teach us all some more yoga moves. Many thanks.
